Impact Reporters work remotely in their home-based city in virtual and in-person collaboration in direct partnership with Sponsor Relations Hosts. Impact Reporters gather information from all departments of Health Possible to produce an impactful story.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Impact Reporter plays a key role in educating Health Possible’s online audience of Member needs, first-person wellness and medical success stories, and the costs, investments, and savings data of our Wellness Cost Sharing (WCS) community. Impact Reporters are online fundraisers through writing (our Blog Suite), whose work is shared across all organization communication and media handles.

It is each Reporters job to ensure that all Sponsor Hosts have the reference points, accurate stories, and data analysis they require to fundraise – in real life – on behalf of the Health Possible community. Impact Reporters and Sponsor Hosts operate as one team.


The Impact Reporter serves our entire community and online audience from storytelling to giving, and owns all research, interviewing, and some marketing. You will be responsible for:

Research & Interviewing: Communicating with Membership Agents about their current and upcoming Member Needs of our community, interview Lead Agents, community members, providers, businesses, and other appropriate contacts regarding needs, data, changes, goals, and positive stories.

HIPAA Laws: Study and understand all HIPAA laws and keep stories, writing, and translations in compliance with laws and people’s generally requested privacy.

Writing: Producing accurate and persuasive stories using excellent rhetoric and communication skills that resonate with online readers and encourage philanthropic giving.

Sponsor Relations Success: Communicate with Sponsor Relations Hosts about what their Sponsors request that they track, measure, we analyze, and deliver back to them as far as healthcare and financial spending. Deliver writing pieces that support the appropriate, lawful, requests in a timely manner. Collaborate on story translation from writing to real-life.


1 year writing experience preferably in nonprofits, healthcare and/or wellness, with a background in research, interviewing, or reporting.

Creativity that keeps an audience coming back for more and provides sponsors with a unique sense about the difference they [can] make.

Strong persuasion skills to explain our mission, attraction, and success. Must be able to empower, educate, and invite readers to make a difference through giving and volunteerism. Strong storytelling and communication skills are required.

Collaborative personality that loves to help others succeed. Must be able to hear the needs of two different people and deliver one solution. Must love supporting their colleagues.

Independently motivated, collaborative, consistent, deadline driven.
